  Research Interests
Rob DeSalle works on the genetics and phylogenetics in a wide range of organisms and contexts. While conservation genetics and insect systematics have been past interests, much of his lab is now focused on bacterial genomics and genomic bioinformatics. Within the Bahamas Biocomplexity Project, Rob is working with Kate Holmes and Genia Naro on examining the connectivity of spiny lobster, land crabs, and bonefish throughout the islands of The Bahamas.
